The Korea Textile Development Institute will start developing nylon fibers manufactured from bio-raw materials.
According to the Korea Textile Development Institute on the 2nd, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy will select a core technology development project for the bio industry in 2020 and push for development by 2025.
The company plans to research bio-fiber convergence technology, which replaces petroleum materials, at 5.4 billion won.

Dr. Lee Hong-won of the Korea Institute of Biotechnology, Dr. Kim Hee-taek of the Korea Institute of Chemistry and Dr. Yoon Jong-won of APTechnology will participate in the nylon bio study.
